In winter, when the Dolomites get shrouded in white, it’s a real joy to ski or to snowboard on the fabulous slopes of Alta Badia or to discover the other areas of Dolomiti Superski along the magnificent Sellaronda trail. The ski bus, that departs right from the Garni Irsara B&B, arrives in just a few minutes at the cable car of Piz Sorega that provides an access to the variety of mountain entertainment for the whole family: acrobatics in the snow park Alta Badia and spectacular toboggan rides, funny games in the bear’s cave and exciting lessons with ski instructors. Definitely there is no lack of opportunities for ski mountaineering, freeride and different walks and snowshoe-hikes.
Alta Badia is crossed by numerous panoramic paths that, in summer, offer infinite possibilities for hikes, e-bike and MTB tours. This fascinating world of streams, woods, Alpine meadows and rocky walls of the Dolomites ensures unforgettable adventures for every taste, from easy routes in the valley and on the plateau between Piz Sorega, Piz la Ila and Pralongià to impressive high-altitude trails, where climbs and fixed rope routes are accompanied by the most breath-taking views.

A selection of rooms
All the rooms are furnished in the typical alpine style and each one has an own modern bathroom, telephone, TV-SAT and free Wi-Fi.
It is not allowed to smoke in the rooms. We don't accept pets. Thank you for your understanding.
Our bar is a popular meeting place for guests to chat and relax. Here you can taste a variety of drinks or some snacks as toast or tasty cold cuts.
The Garni Irsara B&B is situated between San Cassiano and La Villa, benefiting from the proximity to the attractions of both key villages of Alta Badia. Though surrounded by the marvellous Alpine nature, the B&B is easily reachable and well-connected to the rest of Alta Badia.
In winter, the ski bus, free of charge for our guests, stops directly in front of our B&B and allows to arrive in just a few minutes at the cable car of Piz Sorega, which will take you up to the main skiing area of Alta Badia and to the famous Sellaronda ski carousel.
In summer, thanks to the panoramic location in the sunny valley between the plateau of Piz la Ila and the Fanes massif, the Garni Irsara B&B offers numerous possibilities to explore the Dolomites on foot, by bike, by motorbike or by car. Some of the best walking paths and hiking routes of Alta Badia take place in the immediate vicinity of our B&B.
You can choose among the Artists’ Trail along a mountain stream, the Larch Trail across larch woods and Alpine meadows, a hike towards the Santa Croce sanctuary, an ascent to the Fanes plateau and many other routes. To return back to the B&B or to discover some more distant areas, feel free to use public transport, since the bus stop is located right in front of our house. Road bikers and mountain bikers will also be spoilt for choice – just imagine that the road that lead to our B&B makes part of the trails of such top races in the world of cycling as the Giro d’Italia (Tour of Italy) and the Maratona dles Dolomites (Marathon of the Dolomites).

At the moment of reservation, you must pay a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the reservation. As a special service we offer you to pay the deposit together with the premium of the cancellation protection insurance, simply and securely. Pay the deposit conveniently online! Click here. The remaining amount has to be paid directly to the accommodation during your stay in cash, bancomat, VISA, MasterCard or Maestro. We kindly ask you to settle the bill on the evening before the day of departure.
Cancellation:
unforeseen events can sometimes occur, which oblige you to cancel your holiday or leave early. Pursuant to the Consumer Protection Code, there is no right of withdrawal. We do, however, offer the following conditions for cancellation:
- For cancellations made up to 61 days prior to arrival, 30% of the total booking will be charged.
- For cancellations within 60 to 30 days prior to arrival, 50% of the total booking will be charged.
- For cancellations within 29 to 8 days prior to arrival, 70% of the total booking will be charged.
- For cancellations within 7 to 5 days prior to arrival, 90% of the total booking will be charged.
- For cancellations within 4 days prior to arrival, 100% of the total booking will be charged.
- In case of early departure or late arrival, we charge 100% of the agreed daily rate for each day not use.

In the winter, the Skibus stop is located right in front of our Garnì and will take you in just a few minutes to the Alta Badia and Sella Ronda ski areas. Additionally, you can enjoy snowshoeing and walks in the snow.
